I watched the Daytona 500 on Sunday. All 200 laps (or actually 203). It was an exciting race and I was glad to see Jeff Gordon win it. Looking at the prize money that was awarded, I'd like to point out that Bobby Labonte who finished last and ran only 14 laps made approximately 7000 per mile. Not a bad gig.

Hell, when I use my car for work I get 28 cents per mile! It's like a mini-NASCAR driver! :)
